“ this was my second time at this meetup, and it was fantastic, as was my first meetup with this group. this time there were 30 people present, last time there were 50 people present. even though only a few members of the meetup group attend the events, the events are attended by many others; some members of the shul, neighborhood residents, some referred by word of mouth, some even travel from nj to attend. the age rang is varried with the average being maybe 55. the rabbi is fantastic, i think he is a cantor also. he plays the guitar and sings. when i attended my first meetup with this group, upon arrival and seeing the crowd, i thought, this is not for me, the crowd is too old, etc. but let me tell you, the rabbi is an expert, and before you know it or realize it... you are in another place, another dimension. you are in your own little world, totally focused in on the point of a pin or an expansive prarie. others have had similar experiences. 2 times and 2 great evenings. fantastic ”
